From 2001 through 2009 the UDWC Water Quality Monitoring Program worked with local partners to collect and compile water quality data from over 200 monitoring stations in 18 watersheds within the Upper Deschutes basin. A regional database was created for the purpose of sharing data with partners, water resource professionals, and the local community. UDWC and our partners continue to collect and publish temperature data for Whychus Creek and the middle Deschutes River.
A key to the database contains Station IDs (system initials and rivermile from mouth), station descriptions, latitude, longitude, and the type of data within the regional database. To download the key please click here.
Additional water quality data may be found at the Pacific Northwest Water Quality Exchange and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality LASAR Web Application.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the Water Quality Regional Database, please contact Lauren Mork.
The UDWC Water Quality Monitoring Program which developed the Water Quality Regional Database was funded through grants from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board.
