The Upper Deschutes Watershed Council worked with the Central Oregon Irrigation District to develop water management plans for irrigation tailwater in the Dry Canyon area near the Crooked River. The project is currently ongoing as the Central Oregon Irrigation District continues to evaluate options for preventing tailwater from running off from irrigation canals into the Crooked River.
